I didn’t benchmark this CPU in 4k, since in 4k resolution the graphics card is the component that is doing the main work.

As you can see in the table below, I paired Ryzen 5 2600 with a powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 and tested them together in 5 popular games.
As expected, in all 5 games these two averaged more than 60 fps, which is pretty solid considering that I played games on Ultra settings.
The lowest fps was in Cyberpunk 2077, but we all know that this game isn’t as optimized as it should be.
In all other games, I had a very good experience with smooth gameplay.

How Good Is Ryzen 5 2600 in 1440p?
The second resolution I tested was 1440p. Once again I paired Ryzen 5 2600 with RTX 3060, but this time RTX 3060 itself will have much more impact on results.
As you can see in the table, I tested the same 5 games on the same graphics preset so you can see the difference.
Two games averaged under 60 fps, but that is completely fine since you can lower the graphics settings and get much higher fps.
Overall experience was very good. The gameplay was smooth and without any starters.
