Best Components To Pair With AMD RX 480

If u decide to buy this card you will need a good Processor and Ram to extract the maximum potential. Here is the list of parts that will give you the maximum from this GPU, but you can definitely change them if u want.

Processor:

AMD Ryzen 5 1400

This Processor has 4 cores, 8 threads, and a clock speed from 3.20 GHz to 3,40 GHz. This CPU will be the perfect choice for Rx 480 8Gb and won’t be b0ttleneck.

Motherboard:

MSI ProSeries AMD A320

This isn’t the best motherboard out there, but it will be enough for this processor. It supports memory to 3200 MHz, and you will have space for upgrade, because this Mb can handle even 3rd generation of Ryzen processors.

Ram:

T-Force Dark 16GB Kit (2x8Gb) 3200 MHz

This Ram will be perfectly fine and the price is good for a 3200 MHz and 16GB kit.

Conclusion

The Rx 480 8Gb is a good graphics card, and if your expectations are realistic, you won’t be disappointed at all. The only thing we can blame is price, but that’s a problem with the rest of the GPUs too.

My rating for this GPU is 4.1/5
